I was told that their 'Smart Usage' plan would allow me to lower my bill by reducing my electrical usage during peak hours 2pm to 7pm on weekdays and I agreed to that rate plan since I am not typically home during those hours anyway. She indicated that she had put a request in, and was unsure of when it would be addressed, but estimated it would take a week. I have tried calling to check on the status of my rate plan transfer, but I keep getting a recording that states that the call volume is higher than usual and requests that I try to call again at another time.
I would like to ensure that the account is transferred prior to the start of the new billing period because I am overpaying by quite a lot. If possible I would like my previous bills to be recalculated using the residential rate and to be issued a credit for the amount that I overpaid.
